**Coronavirus update**
Hi all, we would like to thank you all for you continuing support especially during this difficult period.
We are working hard to keep a clean and safe place for all our customers. We have a supply of hand sanitiser for customer and staff use at all times. We are keeping in line with all the guidelines given and will continue this for the foreseeable future.
We have a small restaurant area which seats up to 30 people and have decided to reduce the opening hours of the restaurant to evenings and Sunday 12-4pm for roast dinners until further notice. The bar will be open as normal.
We are monitoring public advice on a daily basis and will change our response when necessary.
For anyone who has an event booked during the next few months there will be no cancellations at this stage. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
Wishing you all a healthy future and hope you will continue to support your local pub during this difficult period.

Permanent Real Ales
St Austell Brewery - Trelawney 3.8%. The unique and harmonious blend of English and South Australian hops gives Trelawny a distinctive character of the old and new world. This full-bodied, malty beer is a great partner to robust flavours. A delicate apricot aroma is followed by peach and toffee on the palate and a toasted bitter finish.
Oakham Ales – Bishops Farewell 4.6%. A strong premium beer of structured quality, dominated by elaborate fruity hop notes, with a grainy background and dry finish.
Sharps Brewery - Atlantic IPA 4.2%. Deep golden in colour, Atlantic has a vibrant fruity aroma redolent of lime zest to mango. The flavour is harmonious balance of barley sugar and grapefruit with a refreshingly crisp citrus linger.
Banks's Brewery - Amber Mild 3.8%. Crafted with the finest ingredients to deliver a really easy drinking beer. A deep gold in colour it comes with malty, hoppy flavours and clean finish with fruity overtones. Great with a packet of pork scratchings or a hot pie.
We also have 1 regular guest ale, which is changed on a weekly basis. Summer Lightning, Moonshine, UBU, Butty Bach, Proper Job are some of our favorites. Suggestions are always welcomed. Click here to make a suggestion.

The Vale of Welton have been making cider in the family-run cider works overlooking the rolling Northamptonshire hills since 2005, starting with the original 7.5% abv Poachers dry cider - named in honour of the gentleman who helped plant our first orchards.
Since then, they have added 2 new ciders, the somewhat less potent 4.8% abv medium - dry Black Jetty and 4.8% medium - sweet Rose Hill (for those with enough hair on their chest already).
